Elian Da Ros "Le Vin est Une Fête" 2023
Juicy • Joyful • Southern French Soul
The name says it all: “Wine is a party.” And in the hands of Elian Da Ros — one of southwest France’s most soulful vignerons — that party is full of charm, energy, and heart. “Le Vin est Une Fête” is a celebration of fruit, spice, and sun-drenched terroir from the lesser-known Côtes du Marmandais, just outside Bordeaux.
A blend of Abouriou (a wild local grape with plenty of attitude), Cab Franc, and Merlot, the 2023 vintage is bursting with juicy blackberries, wild herbs, and cracked pepper. It’s light on its feet, refreshingly low in alcohol, and totally gulpable — the kind of wine that disappears quickly over snacks, friends, and laughter.
Farmed organically and fermented with native yeasts, this is natural wine that doesn’t shout about it. Just a pure, joyful expression of southwest France that lives up to its name.
Region: Côtes du Marmandais, Southwest France
Grapes: Abouriou, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
Farming: Certified Organic
Method: Native yeast fermentation, minimal SO₂
Style: Fresh, spicy, fruit-driven red
