Cantine Furlani 'Ramato'
Some wines seem to come from another world entirely — a little wilder, a little freer, a little closer to the edge of things. Furlani’s Ramato is one of them: electric copper in the glass, untamed in spirit, and buzzing with Alpine light.
Made high in the Dolomites from skin-fermented Pinot Grigio, this is ramato in its most vibrant form — all tangerine oil, pink grapefruit, dried herbs, and mountain air. There’s texture here, but it floats; structure, but with no sharp corners. A shimmer of tannin carries the finish like a mineral breeze.
Nothing about this wine is conventional, and that’s the point. It’s a wine for long afternoons, old records, grilled peaches, or just letting things get a little weird in the best way.
Region: Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy
Grape: Pinot Grigio
Farming: Organic, no added SO₂
Fermentation: Skin-contact, native yeast
Style: Wild, copper-toned, and totally alive
