Goodnow Farms Almendra Blanca 77%

A unique single-origin bar from our friends at Goodnow Farms located just down the road in Sudbury. Tom and Monica source the cacao beans from farmer Vicente Caçep, whose family has been growing cacao on his Hacienda Jesus Maria farm in Tabasco, Mexico for over 80 years.

For a high percentage cacao bar, the color is lighter than most, thanks to the Almendra Blanca (or “white almond”) beans, which are a bright white color as opposed to the usual purple.

We love this bar for its creamy ripe mango flavors and nutty finish. It also makes for an exceptional hot chocolate!
