Elena, Paola, and Anna Conti are the second generation of the Conti family to produce wine in Boca, after their father Ermanno Conti planted his first vineyards in 1971. Located in the town of Maggiora in the reaches of Alto Piemonte, Cantine del Castello Conti produces some of the most pure expressions of Nebbiolo to be found in these hills. While their wines principally focus on Nebbiolo, their tiny plot of vineyards is also home to the native varietals of Uva Rara and Vespolina, which have traditionally been used as blending grapes in the Boca DOC.
