Steve Sando was deeply disappointed when he went to pick a tomato at a super market in the midst of August and saw it came from a hot house in Holland. Being in the heart of Napa, Sando took it upon himself to grow his own tomatoes, but that quickly turned into an obsession with a more magical fruit.
