Tasting Counter Preserved Lemon
Tasting Counter was a dazzling culinary experience nestled in the heart of Somerville that was dedicated to using local ingredients, often grown in their own garden. It was one of Bob’s favorite restaurants before they had to close unexpectedly due to a disagreement with their landlord.
To honor their commitment to culinary excellence, we decided to bring in some of our favorite pantry staples from them before they closed for good.
Their Preserved Lemons are left to age for at least six months, a time-honored process that results in a kitchen favorite adding bright citrusy savoriness to any pasta, soup, vinaigrette, or marinade.
