2022 De La Boue Pinot Noir
Pure Oregon wine made wholeheartedly! Winemaker Travis Todd and his partner Chris Andrew have been at it since 2019 making some of the most exciting wine coming out of Oregon today. Travis was winemaking at some of Oregon’s largest wineries and felt unfulfilled. He longed to make wines that spoke to him and showed authenticity of the land. Him and Chris now are sourcing extremely high quality fruit from ethically and sustainable vineyards in the Willamette Valley.
Though these wines are low intervention and pure, they are the type of sturdy wines that are good on day 2, 3 and beyond. This is a testament to Travis’ careful winemaking and the quality of their grapes.
The 2022 De La Boue Pinot Noir is a blend from 3 different Pinot Noir vineyards ( Temperance Hill, Gregory Ranch & Vista Grande). It combines to make a lovely wine that shows the minerality and structure of Temperance Hill, the acidity of Vista Grande and the lush fruit of Gregory Ranch.
