A recent new favorite of ours in the pantry section, Marviglia is a small family-owned Tuscany farm specializing in chickpea and barley-based Shoyu, Miso, and Tamari.

Tamari is a labor of love, a magical liquid concentration of miso, the classic fermented condiment that makes just about every soup and sauce it touches even better. For every kilogram of Miso fermented, only 180 ml of Tamari is produced.

In flavor, tamari is similar to soy sauce but with a more delicate salinity. Add to dressings, marinades and sauteed vegitables.

Ingredients: Filtered Water, Organic barley, Organic chickpeas, Mediterranean sea Salt, Koji culture (Aspergillus Oryzae Spore)
